What are you doing to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day?

Indianapolis is a great city to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day!  In a city that celebrates and embraces diversity, you can count on Indy to bring it home with great events for the whole family to enjoy!

Open to the community for FREE today, there will be a ton of activities to enjoy and participate in White River Park  area as it encompasses 6 Indianapolis iconic area  to explore and enjoy.  Take a segway tour or wander on foot through the various areas and attractions that our Indy area are famous for.  If you are looking to see penguins, walrus, giraffes, lions, merkats and more, head to the Indianapolis Zoo

Offering free admission for MLK day, many area attractions participating are: Eiteljorg Museum, NCAA Hall of Champions, Victory Field, Indiana State Museum and even the Childrens Museum of Indianapolis!

Looking for a jazz concert?  The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation will be performing a special concert at the Rhythm Discovery Center.  Indianapolis Museum of Art is continuing their annual tradition of celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday with a celebrateion of art, music, film and in the Theater of  Inclusion’s community build art project “One and All”

If you are looking to keep it more local, Conner Prairie in Fishers will be watching the famous “I have a Dream” speech, then there will be a paint-by-number civil rights mural. Other areas of will be open to enjoy the traditional games, imagination playground, and the “anything can happen playground.

What are we doing to Celebrate Martin Luther King’s birthday at the Evelo Team?  We have a mixture of  touring Indy with our families to visit the Zoo, Children’s Museum and the Indy Museum of Art.  We do have some of our team members that are working today to show homes to one family that is relocating to the Fishers area.   Another team member is showing the newest homes that we have listed in the Indy area.  It should be a fun and busy day enjoying our Indianapolis area.
