Looking for a few things to do this weekend?  It’s the last weekend in September, not quite Halloween, but still feels like fall…

Here’s a few things that we thought might be fun to do!

Nickel Plate Jazz & Blues Festival presented by Chateau Thomas Winery
Friday, September 27  7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Join us for a night of live entertainment and Cajun cuisine! Ready to spice up the night? The Nickel Plate District Amphitheater announces the Nickel Plate Jazz & Blues Festival presented by Chateau Thomas Winery on Friday, September 27 from 7-10 p.m. Bulletproof Soul Band, Harvey Cook, Gene Deer and Cynthia Layne are just a few of the performers that are set to take the stage. Come hungry because food truck Some of This Some of That will be on-site ready to serve all night long! Chateau Thomas Winery will also be on-site during the event so be sure that you stop by their tent and enjoy some delicious wine throughout the night. Whether you prefer a deep red or a sweet white, they will have it all! Live music will take place all night long so bring a blanket or set up some lawn chairs, get comfortable, and watch the sunset over the amphitheater. Be sure to mark your calendars now for a night of jazz, blues, food and wine!

Come out and support the 8th annual Fishers Oktoberfest at Saxony! Fishers Oktoberfest
will have popular German food and other favorites like hot dogs, hamburgers, elephant
ears, and more. Enjoy German music and a beer garden, and Big Daddy Caddy from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Visit the free kid’s area and arts & crafts vendors from noon to 6
p.m. Donations of canned goods and new toys will be collected for local food pantries in Fishers. Sponsored by SAXONY and Monarch Beverage. Admission is free. CANNED FOOD AND NEW TOYS WILL BE COLLECTED TO SUPPORT THE GOOD SAMARITANS OF HAMILTON COUNTY FOR THOSE IN NEED. PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A DONATION
