What does a typical day look like for a REALTOR? Well, to help us answer this question we were recently joined by a special guest: Terrance Perkey. Terrance is one of the top agents on our team—in fact, within his first year of working in real estate, he won the Rookie of the Year award.

Today, Terrance is going to help walk us through a day in the life of a REALTOR. First of all, it’s very busy. Nevertheless, Terrance says his schedule always varies on a day-to-day basis.

There are a very limited number of houses on the market right now. But even with that being the case, Terrance still puts a lot of work into searching out and previewing homes. Finding the perfect home for his clients is a never-ending search, but one that he always devotes himself to.

The ability to have complete freedom over his own business and schedule, Terrance says, is what drew him into the world of real estate. Success requires a lot of time.

Terrance has been working hard since he first began. At that time, he set a goal of $4 million, which he bumped up continuously in order to challenge himself. Even when split between a team, though, the money Terrance earns is still in the six-figure range.

If you are thinking about getting into real estate, Terrance suggests that you hit the ground running. He also suggests that you consider working with Keller Williams. “It’s just family,” he says. There are so many opportunities for training and growth, and the team-based systems mean you’ll never feel alone in what you’re doing.

If you have any other questions or would like more information, feel free to give us a call or send us an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
